Choices & Why
My archival pigmented photographs become vivid with feeling, absent of distraction. Alive with time and place, it breathes back to the viewer that particular moment when the image was taken, preserving its present state. Most important to me is that I share via these photographs the extraordinary presence of nature that sends goosebumps up my spine.
On my website, you will notice some photo titles are followed, for example, by 1/3. This is spoken as one of three.
The number following the slash signifies how many photos are in an edition. A number prior to the slash indicates which photo it is- 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3. When numbers on both sides of a slash are identical (3/3), the edition is complete and no more photos will be added to that series. Each photograph is signed, copyrighted, titled, and numbered.
I have been taught that it is standard for each fine art photograph in an edition to increase in monetary value until the series is sold out.
Some images are in editions of three, others in an edition of one. The choices are 15 x 11 and 11 x 15 inches w/ borders, 27 x 19 inches and 19 x 27 inches w/ borders, 49 x 35 inches w/ border. Each archival pigmented photograph is presented on exhibition paper and ready to be framed.

These photographs are a collection of what nature accomplishes all on its own yet an observer might be mystified, relaxed, or in awe. It may not be as familiar to the viewer as the bark of a tree or cumulus clouds. The abstract quality is a natural occurrence and hopefully within it you will find intrigue.
