Artist Statement

Our earth holds special qualities of expression. It carries an armful of fresh blossoms akin to metaphor, beauty, and observation. These bring me, the scientist, and all inhabitants possibilities. We have choices as to how we view what lies before and around us. As a black and white fine art, nature, photographer I comb our land for that which draws me inward and outward simultaneously.

I take what ‘teachers’ gifted me to wrap simplicity with intuition and innovation.

Yes, a manual setting on my camera suits me well. I stabilize my lens with automatic settings and further that with a monopod. Weight is a factor since I hike to find the majority of my images. Where I tramp furthers my exploration spiked with adventure.

A star in my dream world galaxy is to make a difference in community at large through images. Influenced by visual novices as well as experts I wish for success as a forward and upward continuum in my fine art photography career.
